The term BLS produces some confusion for people looking into a CPR class. Basic Life Support denotes a level of care which patients will receive in an emergency. Often BLS care includes things outside the scope of CPR class like splinting, oxygen administration, and bleeding control. There are many organizations which offer basic CPR certifications; this class fulfills the CPR and BLS certification in one.

This course follows the current American Heart Association guidelines. No written exam is required for this course. Upon successful completion, the student will be awarded a CPR, BLS, & AED certification that is good for 2 years
